Small Irritating Things
This was the night before last, when i dreamt vividly & remembered a lot when i awoke at 2.30am, but there's one dream that seemed to stand out in my memory, despite it's being the shortest. I was walking with Juliette, my french exchange student. We were walking along a grassy path in an otherwise empty landscape, it was sunny and pleasant. She seemed older and despite the barriers between us when she came over in october we were chatting (her talking english, me talking in french) easily and happily - she was even initiating conversation and seemed to be enjoying herself. As we walked around a bend, which was marked by an arch made of some sorts of plants, a small moth landed on my hand. Then it stung, and another landed on my hand, and another. I tried to bat them away before more landed but they kept stinging me.
Personal Meaning
This got me thinking over the next day. I suppose i'm worried about the french exachange, but maybe the point is that Juliette will be a bit older and in a foreign environment for me (-foreign country?) she will be happier & more comfortable in her familiar landscape. The bugs for me represent little things that are irritating and bothering me - literally 'bugging' me - like trying to find a new art project, the exchange, homework etc.
