A Long Run, and Men with Beards

Dream 1
-Going on a really long run
-Reach a place with toilets/roadside cafe/woods
-Saw a bunch of people, all men, most had beards
-Spotted my godfather who was on the way to our house & offered to give me a lift home
-I had a little tiny black dog with me (chihuahua-type thing) & i tied her up outside the toilets while i quickly went in first
-I came out and she was gone - i got worried for a moment but called for her & she bounded back into my arms. I loved her so very much!

Dream 2
-I was in my house, with Christian. Mum and dad were out, my brother was around somewhere, and we were standing in my mum and dad's bedroom. The bed was messy, and we were making it back up... i had a massive list of the rooms in the house and the things in each room that needed tidying/cleaning up/mending - these things we had to do before my parents got home. We really didn't want to do them, especially Christian, because we just wanted to be able to spend some time together, but i knew we had to get them done first. However, it was a huge list and it seemed that it was going to take so long i just couldn't see the end of it.

Forest
To dream that you are in or walking through the forest, signifies a transitional phase. You may be following your instincts.

Jogging
To dream that you are jogging, suggests that you are proceeding through life in a steady pace. You are not really taking any action toward changes.

Dog
To see a dog in your dream, indicate a skill that you have ignored or forgotten, but needs to be activated. Alternatively, dogs may symbolize intuition, loyalty, generosity, protection, and fidelity. Your own values and intentions will enable you to go forward in the world and succeed.
To see a happily barking dog in your dream, symbolizes pleasures and much social activity.

Personal Meaning
My first dream i think is, as the woods suggest, about a period of transition and change - though the fact that i went jogging means that i'm not taking action towards change. I think the point is that i really need to move out of a situation but its going to take a lot of energy to do that, and if i keep going at the steady pace i am now nothing is going to happen. The dog is probably to do with my intuition helping me decide what to do, and my instinct of being good, & helping people. It does say that these values that i own, challenged by others as they may sometimes be, will help me to go forward and succeed :D

The second dream, to me, is blindingly obvious. At the moment, Chris and me really just want to spend some time together, but there are some big things getting between us and that at the moment and i know we can't focus on much until they're out of the way. So i guess it's time to start on that list of things to do...
