Shot

I was with a couple of other children and we were walking towards the beautifully kept grounds of the house of a very rich man. The children i was with were the rich man's children, and they told me that if i enter the grounds then they have security guards surrounding it with guns. However, i entered through the gate and stepped onto the smooth green lawn, and there was a bang and i felt a bullet shoot into my back - near my left shoulder blade. I didn't seem particularly surprised by it, and not much in pain, but i did think that i was going to die. I had one of those dream feelings that may be how you actually feel before dying (i would not know) and i was a little scared, but i felt ok that i would be going to God.
The dream actually continued for quite a while after this however, and it seemed that the bullet had missed my vital organs (it was very near my heart!) and i was going to survive.

Personal Meaning
This dream is a very clear reflection of a difficult conversation with someone very special to me the previous day. I was upset, because i had done something i wasn't proud of/ashamed of... as the dream suggests... and i think that the hurt i felt was the self-punishment of wishing i hadn't done it.
What was it that i took to heart? I'm not entirely sure... they said nothing unreasonable, nothing to hurt my feelings, but it did hurt my heart that i had hurt somebody else's, and that i hadn't even apologised...
