Black, Talking Snake

I was running, and being chased by a black snake. He talked to me, but i knew that if i were to stop he'd bit & kill me. I had to run about the house, jumping stairs, dodging through rooms, he'd never catch up but never be further than a couple of steps behind me.

Snake
To see a snake or be bitten by one in your dream, signifies hidden fears and worries that are threatening you. Your dream may be alerting you to something in your waking life that you are not aware of or that has not yet surfaced. Running
To dream that you are running away from someone, indicates an issue that you are trying to avoid. You are not taking or accepting responsibility for your actions. In particular, if you are running from an attacker or any danger, then it suggests that you are not facing and confronting your fears.

Personal Meaning
So many meanings... it could mean almost anything.
But the worries and fears and feeling threatened is to do with my feelings about school and people. Feeling worried about who i am, and where i fit in. It's the new year - for me, a time for positive change. I really hope it can help with transformation, and self-renewal. :). First i need to figure out what my fears actually are. Then i need to confront them.

NB. I'm a rather strange person - i'm not very good at confronting fears. I might as well put that i'm scared of the dark and, very often, scared of dreaming. I often find myself praying for gentle dreams before i go to sleep.
